The Blanket...by Edyluz Murillo :)

THE BLANKET

As young child, he was quiet and shy. he was also sick most of the time. His parents worked, and he spent a lot of time at his grandparents house. While his grandmother cleaned and cooked, his grandfather played with him. He was six when his grandfather died, a few months before he died, he gave him a beautiful blue  blanket He loved the blanket very much because it reminded him of his grandfather. However, after a couple of years the blanket did not look very good,  it had holes and stains. He did not want to throw the blanket away, so his mother turn the blanket into a book bag, he was proud of the book bag, and he used it to carry  his books to school every day for a couple of years. Then the book bag tore. He begged his mother to make something out of it, and  she made  a pencil case; but it  tore too. By then he could sew, and he made the pencil case into a small change purse. he used it for three years, but one day he lost it , he felt bad. his friends and family said forget about it Paul you can’t make something out of nothing. he thought about it for a while he decided his friends and family were wrong. There was a way to make something out of nothing, he wrote down the story of my grandfather’s blanket last week his son found the story in the attic ,and his son asked him about the blanket and he said that his grandfather and his blanket are not gone.
Because his grandfather lived with them forever.

  1. i like this history because this happend in the real life.
when your grandfather gives something to you, in my case i always keep it to me, and give you that thing because they trust you and feel that you're ready for something or someone.
for the people that read this i give you an advise always tell your grandpa that you love them very muchbecause one day they will be next to you and you didn't have someone to tell you stories and no one to hug
